Positive Change through Connection with Horses

 

Spiritus Equis – the spirit of horses – formed in 2014. The team is based near Erlestoke, Wiltshire and we offer equine assisted therapy and equine assisted growth and learning activities to help children, young people, adults and families.  We also work with community groups and corporate services.

Spiritus Equis provides a place where horses connecting to children, young people, adults and to families, can bring about positive change in peoples lives and help to build stronger relationships and communities.

We work together as a small team of mental health specialists, equine specialists and of course horses. Our approach to working is strongly influenced by the EAGALA model.

The centre at Downswood is home to our therapy horses, and is set in 7 acres of beautiful, tranquil grounds with paddocks, a stable area and a small herd of curious alpacas.

There is a parking area and reception/break-out room adjacent to the sand school.

We are based in West Wiltshire
